Silent Departure is a deeply personal, narrative-driven exploration of life’s fleeting moments and the quiet gravity of the inescapable. Blending raw, organic guitar performances with a high-fidelity hybrid electronic workflow, the album captures the "beauty of transience."
Moving from minimalist acoustic mourning to sinister, synth-heavy tension, the score features prominently the most humble of instruments: a very inexpensive acoustic folk guitar. Its traditional warmth is the anchor, the heartbeat. But around those organic tones a diverse palette, including Japanese Koto, the electronic arrangements bloom like mist. Recorded entirely on Logic Pro for iPad, the album exists in the space where raw, tactile feeling meets the infinite possibility of the digital ether.
